Bill Bennett is the most thoughtful of all morning talk show hosts. He engages his listeners in a wide variety of topics about American Culture, Politics, and American Life.

The man is a born teacher, and it is a joy to gather around the radio for his daily lesson on everything from American history to ethics. But since I haven't changed much since college, the early hour (3 a.m. out here in Arizona) means I usually cut class

Bill's show is approached as not as "in your face" as other hosts (he is on very early in the day and his style is appropriate to the time period). It's a nice first start for talk radio junkies, though not on my "have to" listen list.

Bill is probably very intelligent, but he does a good job hiding it. He has the irritating habit of failing to pronounce all of the syllables in a word. Is he medicated or something? Poor conservative talk.
