Installation and Uninstallation FAQ

This page has the answers to the most frequent questions about installing and uninstalling Replay AV.

I get an error message when I try to uninstall Replay Radio or Replay A/V

Occasionally the uninstall file gets deleted. It's possible that some anti-virus or anti-spyware programs flag the uninstaller as a false positive and thereby disable the uninstall.

A workaround is to reinstall, and then do an uninstall, as the reinstallation process restores the uninstall file.

Yeah..this sounds inconvenient, but when the files are damaged it is the only way. Prior to uninstalling make sure that you have fully exited Replay Radio and that it is not just minimized to the system tray. If you should need to re-download previous versions you can do so from the main downloads page.

Should I install BOTH Replay Radio AND Replay AV? The installer gives me the option to install both programs.

If you are installing Replay AV, you should de-select the option to install Replay Radio. All features of Replay Radio are included in Replay AV. In other words...Replay A/V is Replay Radio on steroids!! On the other hand, if you are a Replay Radio user, install Replay A/V. We think you'll love it!

I've just upgraded to Replay Radio 7 or Replay AV, should I uninstall previous versions of Replay Radio?

Now that you have Replay Radio 7 or Replay AV installed you can uninstall previous versions as you will no longer need them. The files for Replay Radio 7 and Replay A/V are copied to new directory.

I've lost my activation code. How can I find it?

Please use our handy Activation Code Finder and all of your codes will be sent out to you.

How can I re-download my software?

All products are available for download from the main downloads page.
