This page has answers to the most common Tuning problems.

I can't get any station to tune.

The best way to fix 95% of all tuning issues is to use change the tuning method under Settings. Try this first:

  1. Click Settings, Tuning. The Tuning dialog appears:



  2. Make sure Tune by Opening Browser is selected.
  3. Click OK.

 

Here are the other common problems associated with Tuning:

  1. A firewall program has blocked Replay Radio and/or replay Tuner. Try configuring your firewall software to allow Replay Radio and replay Tuner to access the Internet.
  2. If some stations tune, and others don't: Try changing the show's tuner as follows: select the show, and click Edit Show. Then click the Tuning tab, which appears as follows:



    Change the Tune With value to Default, and click OK.

  3. The URL may be outdated. Try pasting the URL into your browser, and see if tuning occurs.
  4. You may have outdated versions of Real Player or Windows Media Player. Try downloading and updating to the latest versions from these links.

   

 

ZoneAlarm is preventing Replay Radio from tuning when recording

Under ZoneAlarm's Program Control Options, set the Automatic Lock to OFF. ZoneAlarm is configured to lock internet activity after a period of inactivity (the automatic lock), and this effectively locks out Replay Radio from tuning.
